What's live, and what's coming

Plain language, no marketing gloss: what already works today, what we are still building, and what we have decided not to build at all, and why. If you are trying a demo, this is the honest map before you start clicking around.

Live today

Built, tested, and behind the same permission checks a real company uses.

Winning and managing customers

  • Customer and contact records, with merge and a full communication history
  • Leads and prospect pipeline, one click to convert to a customer
  • Bills of quantities that convert straight into a quotation
  • Quotations: versioned, tax aware, expiry sweep, approval limits by role, customer approves online
  • Job tenders and bidding, with a branded bid PDF
  • Client portal: customers sign themselves in to see their own job history, invoices and live status (a company switches this on)

Running the field work

  • Service requests, with duplicate detection
  • Work orders: full status lifecycle, assignment, line items, photo attachments
  • Scheduling and dispatch, week board per technician
  • Technician "My Day": mobile-first, installable, shows only a technician's own jobs
  • Site check-in and check-out
  • GPS tracking: opt-in per technician, only while clocked in with the app open (a company switches this on)
  • Inspections and readings
  • Health and safety assessments, plus incident and near-miss reporting
  • Completion and sign-off, customer approves online with a satisfaction rating
  • Rework and warranty tracking, always linked back to the original job
  • Maintenance contracts with auto-generated recurring visits

Money

  • Invoicing, direct or staged (progress) invoicing on a large job
  • Payments, receipts and credit notes, every entry kept permanently
  • Customer statements, PDF and automatic monthly email
  • A full bookkeeping module: chart of accounts, ledger, bills, budgets, recurring entries, multi-currency notes, timesheets (a company switches this on)

Stock and buying

  • Inventory across warehouse, van and site locations
  • Issue parts to a job, stock and job cost update together
  • Purchase orders, emailed to suppliers, receiving updates stock automatically
  • Stock value reporting

Team and access

  • 18 role templates, fine-grained and editable per company
  • Employee records with certification expiry warnings
  • Office attendance clock in and out
  • Company assets: tools and vehicles assigned to staff with full handover history
  • Document references: link a customer, job or contract to a file already in your Google Drive

Reports, documents and security

  • Dashboards and reports that always trace back to a real record
  • Branded PDF documents on every quote, invoice, statement, receipt and tender
  • Two-factor authentication
  • A permanent audit trail
  • In-app help centre and training courses, two with graded exams

Half-built, real work remaining

These already work at a basic level. Nothing here is broken, it simply is not finished.

  • Onboarding wizard: company templates, tax and unit defaults
  • Workflow customisation: per-template notifications and SLA timers
  • Stock costing: FIFO and average valuation methods
  • Purchase order PDFs and spend approval thresholds
  • Scheduling: month view, map view, technician leave and availability
  • Offline mode for technicians in poor signal
  • More report types and scheduled report delivery
  • Public API: more endpoints, webhooks, a published docs page
  • One-click full company data export from the app itself
  • An accessibility and page-speed verification pass
  • Job and site custom fields, and a lightweight automation builder

What we're not building

Not because it is hard, because it would cost real money or introduce real risk for little benefit right now.

True 24/7 background GPS tracking

Not technically possible from a web app: a browser cannot track location once it is closed, only a native phone app can. Tracking during a clocked-in shift with the app open already covers the real need.

Two-way QuickBooks sync

Climaora's own bookkeeping module already covers this without the risk of two sources of truth for your finances.

A full document storage system inside Climaora

Deliberately built as links into your existing Google Drive instead, so nothing is stored (and paid for) twice.

Direct bank feed connections

Needs a paid subscription with a third-party data provider. Manual entry works today.

A payment gateway

Touches money movement directly and needs its own dedicated scoping conversation first.

A general-purpose automation builder

Better value comes from finishing the specific automations already in the product than a rules engine few small businesses would configure themselves.

Any claim of tax or accounting compliance

The finance module is real bookkeeping, not licensed tax advice. An accountant should review it before anyone relies on it for statutory filings.
